Where are they from?
The Siamese Fighting Fish originated from Thailand and Cambodia. The highly coloured fish available today have been bred for years to produce the flamboyant long fins and deep blues and reds. The males have the long fins while the females have short fins and are less colourful
How many can I keep?
You can only keep one male to a tank as they will fight to the death. In a small aquarium occasionally fighters will nip the tails of fish with flowing tails such as Guppies.
What are the ideal water conditions?
A PH of between 6-8 and temperature of 24-30
