Gold Spot Plecos, also known as Pterygoplichthys joselimaianus, have a brownish colored body that features random gold, irregular spotting. These fish also have over 10 rays in its dorsal fin.  All these features provide for a very characteristic fish. Unlikely to breed in an aquarium, they will easily breed in pools outdoors. Vegetables, wafers, shrimp and bloodworms are amongst their favorite foods.

These fish can reach a maximum size of 8” depending on size of your tank, but are very slow growers.   Shipped at around 2″
