The  barb originates from Indonesia- Sumatra and Borneo. which are tank bred colours
How many can I keep?
Barbs are boisterious and need to be kept in a large group of at least six fish to avoid them harassing other tank mates.
What are the ideal water conditions?
Ideal water conditions are slightly acidic to neutral.
What do you feed them?
They are omnivores and will eat a variety of foods. Feed a varied diet of frozen, freeze dried and flake foods.
